Win or Lose — The Existence Game

Fans, peanuts, popcorn, beer, and life.

Existence is like a baseball game. There are two teams playing:

Team Life and Team You.

Team Life is the opposing team, has nine players on the field, a dozen more players in the dugout/bull-pin, plus many up-and-coming minor league rookies looking for their big break to get into the majors. On the other side is Team You. You have just four players, you, you, you, and you. The game is being played in Earth Stadium. The game has a one-lifetime inning and your team is always up to bat.

Now, one would say, “Hey, that’s not fair! They have all those players and there’s only just… me!” Well, nobody ever said life was going to be easy, that Life plays fair, or that Life is just a walk in the park!

There are rules, and nobody gets to question the Umpire’s calls. Oh, the umpire’s name tag is spelled G.O.D. Highly recommend no un-sportsmanship like conduct; arguing a call; screaming profanities; getting ugly in his face; or kicking dirt on his shoes…

He can and will throw your ass out of the game!

When you’re young, you learn, practice, and familiarize yourself with the game and work to understand and accept the wins and the losses…
