Lists Can Be Difficult, Daunting, Compulsive, Even Ridiculous
But Medium makes listing all your stories easy and beneficial.
Anyone who has ever been married knows about the dreaded Honey-Do list. Yup, that nagging list of things the wife or partner expects or wishes a husband or partner would get done around the house. You know that kind of list:
⬜ Take out the garbage;
⬜ Wash the dishes and don’t forget about the pots;
⬜ Fix the garden sprinklers;
⬜ Trim the scary tree branch tapping the bathroom’s shower window;
⬜ Replace the red cellophane duct-taped tail light with the proper brake light lens;
⬜ Get rid of that stupid truck sitting on blocks in the driveway.
Yes, THAT Honey-Do list.
However, not all lists are beneficial, necessary, daunting, or ridiculous. I mean honestly, do we really have to make and/or follow all these lists? There are millions of lists in the world… “How to (blank)”, “The Five Best or Ten Best (blank)”, “List of (this, that or the other thing)”. You name it, there are lists everywhere about everything. There are even lists of lists listed on a list… mind boggling!
